There is no American equivalent to "Geisha", and what it encompasses. The girlfriend experience is as close as I've heard and I don't really like the term. You should never be bored when in her presence, and you shouldn't feel awkward or like a stranger. Imagine spending an hour or two with someone who's sole intention is to learn you. Study what makes your eyes crinkle up in joy, or narrow in lust. What excites you and turns you off intellectually and physically. Someone who wants to become your oasis escape, available at your call.
